BLOG FAQ

1. Why blogs? Blogs are FREE. They allowed me to create family "pages" with easy links to the videos.

2.Does anyone really look at all of this?
I find those who are not family find the blog(s) amazing. Family? I can describe their interest in two words, "Few view." WHY?
See # 5.

3. Where did all this start? With my family, the Tocci's & Cedrone's: http://tocci.blogspot.com/

4. When did you start? Around the 2007 holidays officially ending Holidays 2012. The time invested exceeded 4000 hours.

5. Why end? Many featured in the videos are gone. All of this could easily be linked on Facebook or to create a family fan page but there is no interest. Since I rarely hear from anyone regarding all that's featured it was time to shut down the projector.

This single page links everything!

With advancements in transferring film to digital I hope these are someday re-transferred. The difference is quality will be quite noticeable. Until then...

In 2012 it's Mojo Mahoney:

In the 1980's Clara transferred Dan's 8mm to VHS. Unfortunately the original film was lost but we have the tapes. I have archived the footage. This is much more than the Marini's of Loring Street, but of Dan's parents, his siblings & their families, Quincy neighbors & friends, including 8mm filmed at 37 Hopper St. Pleasantville NY of the Cedrone, Tocci, & Camilli families.

The videos are not in chronological order. When the movies were transferred they were not placed in date order but spliced together at random. Editing the footage in order is one of my goals for this project. But for now they can be seen here.
The link to the Marini blog is listed below:

There are now LONG versions. Youtube provided me with near unlimited access to uploads AFTER I ended this project (Go figure). I added those recently. The videos are not in chronological order. When the movies were transferred they were not placed in date order but spliced together at random.
